When the major camera brand and my brand of choice Nikon approached me to shoot a video and become a Nikon photographer, I didn’t have to think long. In the video (in Dutch) I offer viewers a number of tips to improve their own sports photos.

For this video, I asked top Dutch BMX athlete Shanice Silva Cruz to be the model for the staged shoot. I’d worked with her before, which was a super pleasant and laid-back experience, and Shanice didn’t disappoint this time either. We set out to shoot a variety of action, lifestyle and portraits, taking full advantage of the backdrops this city offered.
