The adidas Rockstars event is a unique indoor climbing event which attracts the best climbers from all over the world to this German city.

The outdoor branch of adidas commissioned me to shoot an intense portrait of every single competitor. Logistically, this was quite a challenge, but with good timing, planning and a little help from adidas, we managed to capture all we wanted. We even managed to sneak in a little climbing session of our own at the famous Café Kraft when the dust had settled (pun intended).

The photos were provided to third party media including Klettern.de to promote the event and adidas’ involvement in climbing. In addition, the portraits were used on the event’s website.
